I am Fathhy Ahamed, a DevOps Engineer and Full-Stack Developer, currently pursuing a B.Sc. (Hons) in IT at the University of Moratuwa, Faculty of Information Technology. Projects

Successfully deployed a full-stack application utilizing Docker, Docker Compose, and NGINX, showcasing proficiency in containerization, reverse proxying, and load balancing. The project involved successfully developing a frontend served via an NGINX Docker container and a backend Node.js application running in multiple containers on ports 3001, 3002, and 3003. A docker-compose.yaml file was successfully created to orchestrate multiple containers, simplifying deployment. Additionally, NGINX was successfully configured as a load balancer using the least conn method, effectively distributing traffic evenly across backend instances to enhance system scalability and reliability.

• Successfully built and implemented an automated CI/CD pipeline for microservices using Jenkins, ensuring streamlined and efficient software delivery across multiple service repositories
• Provisioned and configured an AWS EC2 server instance to serve as the pipeline environment, with tools like KubectlLI, Kubectl, and EXCTL installed for managing Kubernetes and AWS resources.
• Created and integrated Jenkinsfiles into every branch of the microservice repositories in GitHub, enabling consistent build and deployment workflows.
• Automated the creation of Docker images for microservices, facilitating reliable containerized application delivery.
• This project strengthened my expertise in continuous integration and deployment, focusing on scalability, maintainability, and modern DevOps practices.

In my first-year hardware project, I designed an automatic candle maker using the Arduino Uno with a 16MHz ATmega328 processor. My responsibilities included controlling the temperature sensor and the display. The machine automatically produces candles once wax is added.
